SAN DIEGO – Green Flash Brewing Co. announced plans for its 8th Annual “Treasure Chest Beer + Food Fest,” a rare-beer and food pairing festival taking place on Sunday, Sept. 30 at its brewery and tasting room in San Diego. Treasure Chest is an annual event to raise money for breast cancer charities. This year, Green Flash will donate proceeds from the Treasure Chest program to Susan G. Komen San Diego to help fight breast cancer. Treasure Chest event tickets are available at Eventbrite.com.
“We are thrilled to see the Treasure Chest program grow every year,” exclaims Dave Adams, vice president of hospitality. “Thanks to the support of our consumers, we are proud to have raised over a quarter of a million dollars to date through our partnerships with Komen and other breast cancer charities. I am hopeful our efforts will continue to build momentum as we strive toward making a difference in the lives of individuals affected by breast cancer.”
This popular event has drawn upwards of 1,000 attendees in past years and will feature some of the rarest Green Flash and Alpine beer available, specialty one-off beers, food pairings from local chefs, live culinary demos, music, activities and more. Full festival tickets include unlimited beer tastings, limited food tastings, a commemorative glass and a fun festival experience. Green Flash is also offering a food-only and designated driver ticket, and welcomes children under the age of 12 accompanied by parents. Photos from past events can be viewed here.
